Samsung announced the Galaxy S23 series phones less than two weeks ago as the first smartphones to run on Android 13 based One UI 5.1 but has started rolling out the same update to numerous old flagships on the Z, S, and Note series even before the S23 family is available to the public.
Samsung shocked the entire industry with its fast rollout of Android 13 based One UI 5.0 to numerous Galaxy devices in just a couple of months. But it seems the One UI 5.1 rollout will even be much faster.

This update is expected to roll out to virtually all eligible Samsung phones within the space of a month. This list is expected to include the 2021 and 2022 mid-range Galaxy phones on the A series.
Now, this update might not reach you for the next couple of days or weeks depending on where you reside even though you are using one of the above smartphones.
Generally, it takes about 3 to 7 days for this kind of update to reach us here in Nigeria. But I won’t be surprised if some people here in Nigeria start receiving it tomorrow.
You can check for this update by navigating to Settings App > Software Update and tapping on download and install if it is already available.
The differences between One UI 5.1 and One UI 5.0 is big and include better animation, a much easier-to-use camera and gallery app, new battery widgets, more customizations for mode and routines such as wallpapers, conditions, and scripts, etc.
