MKBHD 2022 Blind Camera Test: The Winners and How Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Did
Marques Brownlee popularly known as MKBHD launched the 2022 edition of the Blind Camera Test last week (13th of December 2022) with a twist and the result is out. We are going to check who the winner is and how Samsung S22 Ultra did.
MKBHD’s blind camera test has always been done on social media using polls and he has always complained about how pictures look different across different social platforms (mainly Instagram and Twitter) where the voting takes place and the nature of the polls makes it unscientific.
This year, he decided to be more scientific about the system by using an ELO ranking system or rating algorithm and this time around it didn’t happen on social media but on a dedicated page on his website (vote.mkbhd.com).
According to him, it peaked at around 35,000 votes per minute, and in about 3 days, there have been over 600,000 people who voted which amounts to 21.2 million votes. The website is still up till the end of January (31st) of 2023, so you can still partake in the test.
There are 16 phones (mostly flagships) that came out this year and some manufacturers such as Google and Apple have more than one phone competing in this challenge/test but the Galaxy S22 Ultra is the only one representing Samsung.
