Having announced the A14 5G in early January and the S23 series in early February, numerous fans are expecting the mid-range Galaxy phones but have no idea when that would be until now.

Samsung Galaxy A34 and A54 Launch Date

A popular tipster by the name OnLeaks revealed on Twitter a few hours ago that the launch date of the Galaxy A34 and A54 might be on the 15th of March 2023 based on information from a trusted source.

This date tracks with the time frame that Samsung had announced the top-of-the-line A series smartphones in the past couple of years. Samsung A34 will be succeeding the Samsung A33 5G while Samsung A54 will be succeeding the Samsung A53 5G.

There may not be a successor for the Samsung A73 5G as I stated earlier this year largely because of low sales and pricing problems with the S series FE edition.

Samsung A51, A52, and A53 5G sold more than the A71, A72, and A73 5G. There are also a few differences between them which do not give the A7x series many advantages and buying motivation over the A5x series. Another thing is the price difference between the A7x series and the Sx FE series.

So, with the A7x series out, the S23 FE will be around the same price but offer way more features and capabilities to its potential users.

Samsung Galaxy A54 and A34 New Renders

New renders have shown the upcoming Samsung A34 and A54 from all angles which include the front, back, and sides.

Samsung A34 is an infinity-U display smartphone while the A54 is an infinity-O display smartphone.

Both smartphones feature the new Samsung design signature seen on both the A14 5G and S23 series announced earlier this year that features a flat front and back as well as camera lenses that stick out of the back of the device individually and are arranged vertically.

Samsung A34 and A54 will be available in Green, Black, and Purple colors. There is an additional Gradient Silver color for the Galaxy A34 and an additional White color for the A54.

Samsung Galaxy A34 5G and A54 5G Expected Specs

Samsung A34 is a 6.6 inches Super AMOLED display smartphone with a Full HD+ screen resolution, and a 90Hz high refresh rate.

The Galaxy A54 on the other hand is a 6.7 inches Super AMOLED display smartphone with a Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) screen resolution, and a 120Hz high refresh rate.

Samsung A34 will be powered by MediaTek MT6877V chipset with 6GB and 8GB RAM as well as 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. The Galaxy A54 on the other hand will be powered by Exynos 1380 processor with 6GB and 8GB RAM options as well as 128GB and 256GB internal storage options.

Samsung A54 5G will be equipped with a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro lens while the A34 5G will be equipped with a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide camera, and 5MP macro lens. Both devices have OIS on their main cameras.

The selfie camera of the A54 5G is 32MP while that of the A34 5G is 13MP.

Both the Samsung A34 5G and A54 5G will be packed with a 5100 mAh battery with 25 watts of charging support. They will also both run on One UI 5.1 based on Android 13 out of the box.
