Comparison and Differences Between Samsung A24 and Samsung A23
1.) Design and Display
- Samsung A24 has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display while Galaxy A23 has a 6.6-inch PLS LCD display
- Galaxy A24 has a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels while Samsung A23 offers 2408 x 1080 pixels
- Samsung A24 has a pixel density of 396 PPI while Galaxy A23 has a slightly higher density of 400 PPI
- Samsung A24 is slightly smaller and lighter than Samsung A23
- Galaxy A24 is available in Black, Lime Green, Dark Red, and Silver-Gradient while Galaxy A23 is offered in Black, Blue, White, and Peach
The A24 4G features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display compared to the A23’s 6.6-inch PLS LCD display both of which are equipped with a high refresh rate of 90Hz to provide smooth scrolling and improved visual experience.
Samsung A23 has a slightly higher resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels compared to the 2340 x 1080 pixels of the Galaxy A24. However, the pixel density is almost identical, with the A23’s slightly higher at 400 PPI compared to the A24’s 396 PPI.
There is Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on their display which protects against scratches. They also both use a plastic frame and back material.
The Samsung A24 is slightly smaller in height and width measuring 162.1 mm and 77.6 mm respectively compared to the A23 which is 165.4 mm tall and 76.9 mm wide.
In terms of thickness, the A24 is slightly slimmer at 8.3 mm compared to the A23’s 8.4 mm. Both smartphones have a similar weight of 195 grams.
Summary: Both smartphones offer impressive displays with high refresh rates and similar pixel densities.
The Samsung A23 has a slightly larger screen size and higher resolution while Galaxy A24 boasts of a better Super AMOLED display, it is also slightly slimmer and features a more compact design.
Personally, I will prefer the compact A24 with its Super AMOLED display. But the A23’s display is not a pushover by any means.

The Samsung A24 is powered by a 6nm Mediatek MT8781 Helio G99 processor compared to the Samsung A23 which is powered by a 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G processor.
Assisting the processor on the Samsung A24 is the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU while the Samsung A23 features the Adreno 610 GPU.
Both are equipped with great processing power for their price range and can handle all the day-to-day tasks without any issues but don’t expect amazing gaming capabilities or flawless performance from either device. After all, they are mid-range devices.
Both the Samsung A24 and A23 offer various memory options. They both come with 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM which provides efficient multitasking and smooth app performance.
The Galaxy A23 and A24 offer a generous 128GB of internal storage which provides ample space for apps, media, and files.
However, the A23 also offers a 64GB internal storage option, giving users a choice based on their storage needs.
Both the Samsung A23 and A24 support expandable storage via a dedicated microSD card slot which means you can increase storage capacity as needed.
They are both equipped with a 5000 mAh battery capacity and support 25 watts fast charging support.
The battery takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes to fully charged from 0% and a single charge can last you through the day easily.
Average users can even get up to 2 days of usage from both devices on a single charge.
Summary: Both devices offer similar performance.
3.) Camera

At the rear, Samsung A24 and A23 are equipped with a 50 MP main camera featuring Optical Image Stabilization. This allows for high-resolution and stabilized photography in various lighting conditions.
They also both include a 5 MP ultrawide camera with an aperture of f/2.2 which enables capturing wider-angle shots for landscape and group photography.
Both smartphones also have a 2 MP macro camera with an aperture of f/2.4 which allows you to take a picture of close-up objects.
Samsung A23 is equipped with a 2 MP depth-sensing camera which is absent from the Galaxy A24.
As for video recording capabilities, both devices support 1080P recording at 30fps.
Moving on to the front camera, Samsung A24 comes with a 13 MP front camera with an aperture of f/2.2 compared to the Samsung A23’s 8 MP selfie camera with the same aperture.
While using these devices, their selfie camera takes great pictures for their price. Also, most of the time, the Galaxy A24 takes noticeably better photos than the A23.
Both Samsung A23 and A24 support 1080P video recording at 30 fps with their front cameras.
4.) Connectivity, Sensors, and Multimedia
Samsung A24 has a barometer sensor which the Galaxy A23 does not have. Both smartphones have side-mounted fingerprint sensors.
Samsung A24 is equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 while the Galaxy A23 has Bluetooth 5.0
Both phones come with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Samsung A23 has FM radio but the same is not true for the Galaxy A24.
