Samsung Galaxy S23 Series Will Be Unveiled on the 1st of February 2023
According to one of IceUniverse’s recent tweets, there is going to be a Galaxy Unpacked event where the Samsung S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra will likely be officially announced on the first day of February 2023.
It is surprising because there have been numerous reports over the last couple of weeks that says the upcoming Samsung flagships will be announced on the 14th of February 2023.
IceUniverse has been a credible source over the years when it comes to revealing details about upcoming phones or tech gadgets. While it has not been officially confirmed by Samsung, there is a possibility that February 1, 2023, is the date.
Based on the latest available mobile technology, the S23 series is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful chip yet – the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (more optimized and faster version), use a fast UFS 4.0 storage, faster LPDDR5X RAM, bigger ultrasonic fingerprint reader, and runs on One UI 5 based on Android 13.
The battery capacity is expected to remain the same, especially on the S23 Ultra but there is a possibility of the S23 and S23+ seeing a bigger battery capacity.
Samsung S23 Ultra is also probably going to use a bigger and better 200MP wide/primary camera and a 12MP selfie camera – which seems like a downgrade from the S22 Ultra’s 40MP to a lot of people but remember that a bigger sensor doesn’t mean a better picture.
Finally, the S23 and S23 Plus primary cameras are expected to remain the same at 50MP but will now be using the same 12MP selfie camera as the S23 Ultra.
Past information also reveals that the selfie camera for the time might have autofocus and even OIS on some models (probably the S23+ and S23 Ultra).
